How to access computer from your Android mobile

Good news for Android user, you can access your computer from your smarphone or tablet. Its very simple and all you need to have is one computer and smart-phone with internet connection. Google has launched Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android which lets you access files sitting on your home PC or Mac even when you are nowhere near it.

1.Download Chrome Remote Desktop from your Android mobiles by visiting the Google Play Store.

2.Open your Google Chrome from your computer and then go to Google App store. Search for Chrome Remote desktop app and then download it.  Once the app has been added, a new tab will open and the apps icon will appear in the app section of the page.

3.When you open Chrome Remote Desktop app for the first time from your computer, you will be asked to authorize it to take the following actions:

4.Now, a new page will open showing the options of Remote Assistance and My Computers. Click on Get started button which appears in My Computers box and then click to display remote connection options.

5.Click Enable remote connections

6.Install the Chrome remote Host  service

7.Enter a PIN and re-type the PIN and then click OK. After that click Yes to install Chrome Remote Host Service. The host service will be downloaded and installed automatically.

8.If the Get Started appears in the “Remote Assistance “ box , click it to see the Remote Assistance Options. Click the Share button. A unique access code will be generated . Send this code to the person you would like to share your computer. Once the code is entered, you will be able to see your computer screen on your Android mobile.

9.Now, in your Android mobile, open Chrome Remote Desktop app.

10.In the Remote Desktop app of your mobile, you can see the name of the computer which are connected to you. Just click on that the name of computer and enter the PIN which you have entered on the Chrome browser at the time of Host service setup.

Note: You must sign with the same gmail id in both your computer and Android mobile.

Now, you are done. You can access your computer from your mobile. You can play any music, open hard- disk drives, read word file, etc..
