Dromag - A couple of weeks ago Google was officially revealing the name of the next Android iteration and despite everyone expected the Mountain View-based company to introduce us to Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, the new version of the mobile operating system will be called Android 4.4 KitKat.

Unfortunately, Google failed to reveal more details about Android 4.4 KitKat, so all we can do is relay on leaks to find out more about the new Android version.

Previous rumors were suggesting that Android 4.4 KitKat will debut synchronized with LG Nexus 5 mid October. Well it seems that the rumors were pretty accurate after all, as Nestle’s Facebook page could have confirmed the Android 4.4 KitKat release date. One of the Nestle’s employees might lose its job after answering that Androdi 4.4 KitKat will be launched in October.

The employee might have as well talked about the new Android-themed KitKat  chocolate bars, but they are already available in stores. Personally, I find it hard to believe that a simple Nestle employee could know so much about Google’s plans, but we can take the leak as a confirmation.

As I was mentioning above Android 4.4 KitKat is expected to debut synchronized with Nexus 5, which will become the first smartphone in the world to run the new Android iteration out of the box.

If you aren’t familiar with the Nexus 5 rumors you might want to hear that the smartphone is expected to be underpinned by LG G2′s hardware platform, thus a 5.2-inch full HD display and a Snapdragon 800 chipset are most likely to be found on the new handset. According to the rumor mill the Nexus 5 will come with either 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM, 4G LTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0.

As about Nexus 5′s camera, some say it will be the same 13 MP shutter mounted on the back of the LG G2, while other say that it will have 9 MP sensor with UltraPixel/ClearPixel-like technology.
What are your expectations for Android 4.4 KitKat? Any particular features you are dreaming of? Please share your thoughts in the comments section.
