Dromag - Android 4.3 JSS15R Jelly Bean firmware OTA update is now rolling out for the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi model. Check your device’s notification panel or the Software Update menu for new updating files and simply click once the download button to start the updating process.

This JSS15R Jelly Bean 4.3 Update release should roll out starting today for all the WiFi models of Nexus 7 tablets. There are any major changes added to this firmware, as it only measures only 8MB, which means that it surely brings fixes for various small bugs and a security tweak. No official changelog is available which only leaves us hoping that this update has fixed the multitouch bug that some Nexus 7 users were complaining recently.

The Nexus 7 2013 WiFi was launched several months ago with the stock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as stock OS and since then it has received several new 4.3 Jelly Bean builds that tweaked its performance for a better and more stable OS. Since Google already announced that they will release the Android 4.4 KitKat, their next OS update then this tablet model should be one of the first devices to receive it along with the Nexus smartphone.

Did you receive the Android 4.3 JSS15R update for your Google Nexus 7 2013 WiFi tablet. If you didn’t, then you should open the Settings screen and use the Software Update menu to check for new Jelly Bean builds.
